Our Mission

The mission of the Women in Healthcare Network (WIHCN) is to empower and connect women across diverse healthcare specialties, spanning medical, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, wellness, mental health, health finance, and technology. Founded by Dr. Modupe Elebute-Odunsi, WIHCN envisions a supportive network that fosters career and personal growth through educational meetings and mentorship programs. The aim is to collectively improve and advance the healthcare landscape in Nigeria. WIHCN’s commitment is reflected in its key initiatives, focusing on networking opportunities, mentorship programs, and educational initiatives to enhance women’s knowledge and skills in healthcare. The network aspires to be a dedicated space where women can come together, support each other, and ultimately contribute to shaping the future of healthcare in the nation.
